Introduction

As a Textile design lecturer, I had the opportunity to be an assistant in the textile
workshop by Mrs. Geri Forkner (textile artist from USA) on felting, and that was my starting point for felting. The felting technique is well-known technique in Western countries. Since it is a technique that uses wool as a material for making art craft. It began to be used as a technique for craft enthusiasts in Thailand but not yet popular. Since the wool material is not yet able to be produced in the country, it still requires importing the material from foreign countries. Therefore the material is quite expensive.

The felting techniques comes in a variety of forms, both in 2D and 3D, depending on the
method. For this reason, it made me interested and want to experiment my art works with felting techniques.

The inspiration for my work is mostly the impressions from my journey. This time, due to
the impression of visiting the United States in the spring season where colorful flowers in the garden Therefore bring to be a form of creation in this work.

Caused by interest in felting techniques that are widely used among textile artists in Western countries. But in Thailand it is still known, not yet popular because the materials used are still expensive. I have to experiment on felting technique by myself via online media such as YouTube and apply it to suit the design of my works.

The purpose of this work is to transfer felting techniques to become more widely known in

Thailand. I want to create art piece from felting by hand-made in 3D shape, created in the form of three handbags that are different in the look and color tones .

From the experimentation of working from wool with wet felting and needle felting techniques, all 3 pieces have been received, allowing designers to find the problem of creating patterns from paper to real materials. Sometimes it is impossible to control the forming of the art work as designed. With the factor of water temperature in felting and felting time. The results that are satisfactory to the designer at a good level.

Introduction

The lotus flower is literally the essential and meaningful symbol of Buddhism, which is the queen of aquatic plants and representative of Buddhist’s spirituality. The meaning of lotus in Sanskrit is ”Bongkot” which means the mud birth. In Buddhism, levels of lotus can be compared to a range of human greed. The levels of the lotus are divided into four types, ranging from the lowest lotus under the mud, the underwater lotus, the lotus at the water surface, to the lotus above water. Those thriving in mud, being rotten and animal feeds represent ignorant humans, while those thriving above water are pure and spiritual, symbolizing enlightened humans.
Inspired by the meaning of lotus, a design concept highlights a range of lotus levels in Buddhism. Greeds of the lower lotus are translated into the rough surface. Different leaf shapes are used to represent confusion. In contrast, the pureness of enlightened higher lotus is portrayed by tidy lines and neat surface.

This womenswear outfit is inspired by a lotus with an emphasis on its meaning in Buddhism. In addition to the silhouette influenced by the lotus shape, the surface design features various techniques in order to reflect various types of humans, according to the comparison of humans to different levels of lotus in Buddhism. Comparing the embellishment to human greed and desire, elements of lotus leaves are developed into surface techniques, ranging from rough embroidery, the untidy line to neat decoration.

Flute and Guitar classical music: Schubert & Kohle 15 Original Dance from D.365 Plaisirs pour Guitar and Flute Aug 24, 2018 – Uploaded by HALIDONMUSIC

In this time of The 8th Rangsit University International Design Exhibition, I would like to express how pleasant of this classical music into the vision of digital illustration art.

This music is soft sounds of tiny melody harmonized with a flute and a guitar. The melodic make the happiness and joyful. Therefore, I set the place at the sky with the full of cloud for my design with the angels of musician, two kinds of music instruments, and the puppets.

The first and second design pieces I show the musician playing their song for the puppet. I use the image of living puppet controlled with the melody for representing the human who love music and who get the dramatically impact on their life. In the last piece, two puppets are dancing with the song of ‘Schubert & Kohle 15 Original Dance from D.365’.

My designs will be exhibited on the website for the 8th RSU International Deign Symposium, My printed art piece will be given to the College of Music, Rangsit University. I hope that my design works will pleasure and inspire musical students, teachers and visitors. It will be useful and would help making the beautiful and romantic environmental in a hall or music room.

Audience’s Viewing Gap in Digital/VR/AR
Art mediums Series of Artwork,
“Silent Roar: The Last of Us”

Mr. Gomesh Karnchanapayap

Introduction

Since the dawn of time, humans have been inventing art mediums as ways to share experience. COVID Pandemic not only changes the way we socialize but also puts a “gap” everywhere. Although Physical Art establishments such as museums and galleries are now being put on pause mode, art viewing and experiencing will continue. While they not be able to substitute the real things, modern technologies can be used to share artworks in this social distancing era.

The subject of this study is a family of black leopards. In this series of artwork, “Silent Roar: The Last of Us”, the artist utilized 3 different mediums to represent gaps in art viewing. The 3 mediums are Digital animation, Virtual Reality animation, and Augmented Reality animation which can be viewed through a monitor, a Virtual Reality head-mounted display, and a smartphone respectively. Art contents can be delivered to these three mediums via internet providing safe methods of viewing artworks.

Although the 3 artworks are of the same subject, the gap in viewing the artworks differ due to the chosen medium. Digital Medium can be viewed traditionally by projecting contents on a monitor. According to the rules of ergonomics, a recommended viewing distance for a monitor is 51 centimeters. Virtual Reality place 2 monitors very close to your eyes. The gap between your pupils and the VR lens is about 10 centimeters. Augmented Reality technology can superimpose virtual artwork on top of a real environment and be viewed through your smartphone screen with a viewing gap of approximately 40 centimeters. These display formats are viable remote art exhibitions as the creative contents can be delivered anywhere via internet. This providing truly safe viewing “gaps” during the COVID pandemic while keeping you connected to the art world.

TO FOCUS ON EVERYONE CONTRIBUTING THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AWARENESS TO PROTECT, SAVE, LOVE THE TREES BY REPLACING THE ONES WHICH HAVE BEEN DESTROYED.

THE VIEWER SHOULD UNDERSTAND HOW HUMAN BEINGS HAVE DESTROYED THE
TREES IN NATURE. BY LEAVING SUCH A TRAGIC END TO NATURE WHEN THERE IS A CALAMITY. REPRESETING THE REFLECTION OF THE RESULT OF WHO NATURE ONCE APPLARED BY RE-CREATING THE PARTS OF THE TREES AS A DREAMLIKE EXISTENGE OF THE TREES THAT SPRING TO LIFE FROM THE DEAD ONES.

A PRIVATE SPACE THERAPHY: HYBRID IDENTITY AND HIDDEN
THINGS MISSING IN A PERIOD OF TIME

Introduction

The cross-border life of the creator is different from that of Benedict Anderson is the cross-disciplinary field that specializes in ecology. To learn, experiment, combine the different ways of thinking, process, creative method, material technique, presentation, comparison of differences to find a common culture or common points on differences and the hidden things that must be observed to see and things that are not visible Is the abstract of the results of the experiment In which the whole process is a mix of diversity.

What is the origin of life? The question that we have always tried to answer is questions about the origins of human life, matter, and the universe. Today, we are able to answer the questions of the origin of life in a more diverse and deeper way because we seek answers to explain the questions from various sciences that occur according to dynamics. From the knowledge of humans is the sensory knowledge the baby perceives the mother’s touch, smells the taste of food, sees, touches the various emotions around him. Even when starting to ask questions? Since childhood when he got the answer he wondered again? Causing us to have to find an answer and the answer makes us wonder!

When having the ability to ask questions and find more answers as a result, knowledge accumulates and transferring knowledge to others. The question is? Is a question that gives knowledge and disappears Is the source of knowledge can say that desire to know more important than knowledge whether in deep or wide knowledge then analysis, crystallization, synthesis, integration, fusion into the phenomenon of “new life with intellectual rebellion”

The phenomenon known as “new life” causes the model to change itself by thinking outside the box. Considered a rebel that caused the intellectual state. Under the art beyond the modern times declaration of equal freedom of expression in terms of content, form and technique. It is considered a decentralization of interpretation, causing widespread criticism and questions. By transcending the main discourse into the freedom of interpretation and expression which is consistent with the various contexts of social, environmental conditions, without the need for universal forms to think about anymore.

After that, consciousness in different eras began to ignore the answer. But instead focus on the pursuit of thinking and challenging perspectives with a new, diverse, complex, question and turned to focus on the processes that occur while seeking answers new knowledge from coincidence while constantly seeking answers. If we & you want to seek ideas, questions or new challenges we must change our way of thinking by looking far. And transcend knowledge in the same field of science began to change, seeking a new process for finding answers. Because past we have reached the ground zero and are traveling backwards? with pastiche hybrid art from discontinuity unoriginality eclecticism, retro-style, recycling old style, trans-historical styles, complexity, appropriated image.

Over time, the answer was also important. This is because we have always been trapped in the above conceptual process. If you want to seek something new must cross the Brahma border go beyond the postmodern concepts along with the question that Is there something new? Eyes in the face? Form? We seek for ? There is no answer in the last part. But only giving suggestions by using content the model consists of creating, blending together until it is a hybrid or hybrid (whether the idea of the process of creating, presenting, disseminating, even eating, staring, or reflection of the audience). All of this proposed Is that what happened at this photo exhibition? How? If it happens? Hidden in the overlapping part? Challenge everyone to continue to review. The writing style is in language, symbol, content, there are issues of perception, smell, smell, emotion, feeling, sight, ingestion, environment, and the environment around us. Making a difference hidden things abstract in concrete What is missing in life reconstruction which was caused by coincidence while seeking answers. This idea was carried on for a long time but started to work during the past year.

Privacy culture that reflects life that still exists a simple way of life is a place to accumulate life experiences. And collected and created with a way of art that has become parallel with life, making existence of meaningful life with the recording of that time by using the photo process and printing of mixed media images. Like connecting from one point to another From the opposite side of the past to the future decay over time age change threats of health arranged to flow smoothly, with no definite starting and ending points tells the endless leaps and bounds from seeing, touching, smell, taste, swallowing, fresh fruit, tea leaves combined with the art of healing the mind and body. In a condition that falls into an uncertain period of life at a certain time.

Fresh or dry mulberry, squeezed leaves from the results of printing techniques, pressing, pressing, rolling, stamping, drying with natural sunlight. Baking with a heat control cabinet reuse which means recycling without going through any transformation. Reuse pulp mulberry without going through any transformation process, helps to work by mold and bacteria from molded objects consisting of leaves, trunk, chemical free to provide a way to relate to the natural way and the way of graphic arts, three dimensional layout mixed media. Use natural colors, such as freshly squeezed fruits, dried fruits, pressed, pressed, stamped, to create an image recorded in time on the pulp collected from everyday life around them. By using mold from objects in the mulberry park area, the garden fig, to record the traces of memories that happened during natural healing.

Typing material trial with the method of pressing, pressing, pressing, scraping, drip experiment with using the remaining substrate from use different types of paper, wood, PVC, waterproof materials, plastwood, stickers, toilet paper, napkin, blotting paper, used paper remaining from use paper from the coffee shop printing paper, letter paper, acrylic sheets.
After that taken through natural heating methods such as sun exposure heating in an oven that controls heating temperature. The state of decay of objects in the natural healing of time. The contradiction of different materials; water, sunlight, temperature, air, moisture, microbes, bacteria, mold, insects. Many types of paper, wood fiber, wood pulp, used paper facial tissue paper, napkin, printing paper, aluminum compression paper mulberry, figs, fruit, twigs, leaves, and stems.

Inconsistency in time differences different materials different creative methods such as printing, pressing, crushing, crushing, recording from various parts of mulberry, roots, stems, leaves and different effects in time. And the type of species a space come to life and one kind change something. Privacy culture that reflects life that still exists a simple way of life is a place to accumulate life experiences. Introduction

The gap of rich and poor is one of the biggest gaps that every person want to cross. In
the capitalism society, wealthiness and power are very tempted. When people consumed by their greed, they will be crumbling eventually

In this work, skull is the symbolic of fundamental person. Wherever the gold coin touch it, it will be consumed and spreading like as cancer. Once it completely change to gold skull, it will be breaking by their greed.

To illustrate that human can be consumed by greed. In the meantime, that person can be destroyed by their gluttony.

In this project, I develop 2 systems that transform clay skull to gold skull by calculate contact point and spread noise.
