Introduction

Researcher inspired by studying Wabi-sabi philosophy and create the installation art
with mix media “Nature Meets Us”. Wabi-sabi emerged sometime around the 14~15th century by studying Buddhism, becoming Zen later. Through the nature, they found simple, ephemeral, imperfect. also minimalist details and unique appreciation of natural beauty.

Japanese aesthetics are known for its simple and minimalist design details and unique
appreciation of natural beauty. Conclusion is to create the art of imperfect and simple

J“Nature meets Us” inspired by Japanese philosophy, to create the idea of nature and
dress. Nature is surrounding dress. Represent nature by the abstract shapes then use brown paper and rope surrounding with light that help some dimensions. All the materials made of natural fibers. Then used the Wabi-sabi symbol to circle things together with peaceful and simple. For the 3 dresses is the symbolic of trying to make less details. (Mind the gap of simple life)

To create the concept of “Nature meets Us”. Attach the paper lines in imperfect look on
the circle shape half shape on the wall and half shape on the floor. Put the 3 dresses (show the effort to be simple) in the space of circle then layering brown ropes on the dresses. Including the materials which made of natural fibers.
