Symposium “Work in Progress”
by Council of Arts and Design Deans Council of Thailand (CADDT) together with College of Design, Faculty of Digital Arts, Rangsit University. This year we welcome the Faculty of Architecture and the Conservatory of Music, Rangsit University to collaborate with us in organizing the event.
International Arts and Design Symposium “Work in Progress” (Founded in 2012) is an international forum for scholars, designers and artists from various fields to share their works in progress.

Conditions
Creative work must be created in 2020-2022 and have never been displayed in any exhibition before. “Clean Design”, the topic of this international design exhibition, was established based on inclusive, holistic, and innovative design aiming at creating conveniences and happiness for users through the innovative and smart design process.
Applicants must complete an application form, and be responsible for delivering the works for the judging procedure.
Applicants are eligible to submit up to 3 pieces of works per topic, with complete detailed information. For two-dimensional works, the size shall not exceed 2.00 x 2.00 (meters), and for three-dimensional works, the size shall not exceed 2.00 x 2.00 x 2.00 (meters).
Judging panel reserves all rights regarding work selection, exhibition, and any forms of public presentation.
Exhibiting works will be as the previous agreement between applicants and organizers, and any deviation from such agreement will not be acceptable. All information sent will not be returned to applicants.
Works officially selected by the judging panel shall be presented in the form of online exhibition and downloadable e-book via website www.rsu-workinprogress.com. Selected applicants will receive a certificate when taking part in the 10th International Design Exhibition; “Work in Progress”Instruction for Creative work:
Complete the application form and your creative work information, send your application to the College of Design via email: workinprogress@rsu.ac.th Files attached should be
- Microsoft Word, .doc or .pdf. * Please use font Cordia New, 16 points, not exceeding 6 pages of A4 paper, leave 1-inch margin on each side.
- 2-8 Image files must be .jpg at 300 dpi, moving image must be MPEG4 file. (This is not the actual works but the work sample for the Judging procedure.)
*All Applicants are welcome to submit or delivery their artifacts to our gallery (College of Design, Khun Ying Patana Building, Rangsit University) for committee to review. After the evaluation process, applicants are responsible to take the works back in person (as per the announced schedule). Organizers shall not be responsible for any works that remain beyond the deadline under any circumstances.
Applicants will be solely responsible for any consequences due to the copyrights of the work violation, and or any violation of the laws.
Instruction for Research Paper:
Research paper should be submitted by April 30th, 2022.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and APA style bibliographic requirements outlined in the Instruction for Author.
